Some consequences of exceptional characters

It is conjectured that there do not exist particularly egregious counterexamples to GRH called Siegel zeros. If these exceptional zeros exist, a number of problems, such as the twin prime conjecture, suddenly become doable, and certain interesting phenomena (some of which are expected to be false) emerge in this alternative world. We outline some of these consequences.
