*Special Lecture in Differential Geometry and Geometric Analysis*

Motivated by some works that go back to Schiffer, we will discuss semilinear equations subjected to two or more boundary conditions.Classifying the domains where such over determined problems admit a solution is in many cases an open problem. We will present some recent results obtained in collaboration with Prof. Kawohl (Cologne).
