Recently Bhatt-Morrow-Scholze and Bhatt-Lurie have introduced an integral theory of syntomic cohomology, which gives an approach to p-adic \’etale motivic cohomology for arbitrary schemes. Alternatively, these can be described as the cohomology of prismatic F-gauges. I will discuss an identification of the syntomic complexes for p-torsionfree regular schemes based on a mixed characteristic analog of the Cartier isomorphism (joint with Bhargav Bhatt).
